Club Policies
NON-PROFIT CORPORATION.  Peninsula Water Polo is a federally qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.

TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS.  Donations to PWP are fully tax-deductible so long as you receive neither goods nor services in consideration of your contribution.  Please contact our treasurer for more information at treasurer@peninsulawaterpolo..com.

PRIVACY POLICY. Personal information provided in the registration process is used to administer PWP team activities only. PWP does not publish, provide or sell personal information to third parties, with the exception of medical emergency information as authorized during the registration process.

USA WATER POLO Mandatory Registration Requirement.  All athletes are required to be current members of USA Water Polo as a Silver or Gold Athlete member. Registration with this organization is MANDATORY because it provides liability insurance and supplemental medical insurance. It also is required for participation in water polo competitions.  You can register individually or with our club.  We are in Pacific Zone #6 and our club number is #17827.

SCHOLARSHIPS.  PWP does not turn away any athlete because of financial hardship.  It offers grants/scholarships to those people who request them.  Please do not hesitate to speak with the president or treasurer. All requests are considered private.

SAFETY.  Our athletes’ safety is of paramount importance to us.  PWP fully complies with all safety rules and regulations set forth by USA Water Polo.  All coaches are USAWP-certified and have current CPR, AED and First Aid training.  Practices are not conducted without a USAWP-certified coach on deck.
